IBPS has invited applications for the post of recruitment of officers at the scale I, II, and II, and office assistant in regional rural banks (RRB). To be selected for the exam, candidates will have to clear an online preliminary exam followed by Mains and an interview round. The preliminary exam is scheduled to be held in August, October, the exam dates have not been announced. For officer scale-II, and Scale-III exams after the online exam, candidates will be directly called for an interview.

IBPS RRB Fee Details: The candidates must note that the last date of fee payment is also June 27, however, the forms can be downloaded till July/August. The application fees for the general category candidates is INR 850/- for Officer Scale I, II, and III and Office Assistant. In case the candidate belongs to SC/ST/PWBD category the fee is INR 180 for the form.

Recruitment at Clerical level or office Assistant and Officer level or Officer Scale I, II and III would be done on the recruitment process under the IBPS RRB Exam. The Selection process for IBPS RRB Office Assistant and IBPS RRB Officer Scale I include a preliminary examination followed by the main examination. For IBPS RRB Officer Scale-II and III, the admission process includes only a single level examination which is conducted alongside IBPS RRB Officer Scale I Main examinations.
Candidates interested in banking jobs are advised to go through the official notification and fill the online application forms at the earliest. Only online application forms would be accepted. Candidates are also required to pay the fee online to complete the online application process.

IBPS RRB Important Points
- This is the ninth edition of the RRB recruitment process that is being conducted by IBPS.
- This is the 2nd IBPS RRB recruitment to have implemented the EWS quota.
- Registration window will be active till the deadline.
- Candidates have to register at ibps.in.
- The prelims will be held in September/October. Admit cards will be issued to the candidates, who have successfully registered for the exam, beforehand.
- Online application accompanied by payment of application fee will complete the registration process. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets by providing information as asked on the screen.
- “Candidates are advised to apply for only one post i.e. Scale-I, II and III in Officers’ cadre. The applications of candidates applying for more than one post in Officers’ cadre will be summarily rejected,” reads the official notification.
- The interview will be a part of the selection process for Officers post only.
IBPS RRB Officers and Office Assistant Eligibility Criteria: Indian Citizens who have completed their graduation can apply for the various posts. The age limit for different posts, however, is different. Age limit for general category candidates is provided here. Relaxation in upper age limit as per GOI norms is applicable. Age limits are calculated as on June 1.
- Office Assistant: 18 to 28 years
- Officer Scale I (Assistant Manager Position): 18 to 30 years
- Officer Scale-II (Manager): 21 to 32 years
- Officer Scale III (Senior Manager): 21 to 40 years

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Online examination (Preliminary & Main) for Officers Scale I & Office Assistants (Multi-purpose), Common interview for Officers Scale I, single online examination & Common interview for Officers Scale II (Generalist and Specialists) & Scale III.
For the posts of Officers Scale I and Office Assistant (Multi-purpose) the examination will be two tier i.e. the Online Examination will be held in two phases, Preliminary and Main. For the post of Office Assistant (Multi-purpose), candidates who will qualify in Preliminary Examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Main Examination. They will be provisionally allotted on the basis of the marks obtained by them in the Main Examination and the vacancies reported by the RRBs.
For the post of Officers Scale I, candidates who will qualify in Preliminary Examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Main Examination and shortlisted candidates in the Main Examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the help of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with appropriate authority.

Candidates belonging to other categories have to pay Rs 850 for the application. Whereas, the application fee for office assistant (multipurpose) posts would cost Rs 175 to the candidates under SC, ST, PWBD and EXSM categories and Rs 850 for all others.
4.What is the IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria?
All candidates must have cleared graduation with relevant experience. In terms of age limit, for officer scale-III (senior manager), a candidate’s age should be above 21 years but not exceed the age of 40. For officer scale-II (manager), the minimum age of a candidate should be above 21 years and the maximum age should be below 32 years.
For officer scale-I (assistant manager), the minimum age should be above 18 years and the maximum age should be below 30 years. For office assistant (multipurpose), the age of a candidate will range between 18 years and 28 years.
